Nestlé announced the sale of the Good Start® infant formula brand in Canada and the U.S. to Perrigo Company.
On November 1, 2022, Nestlé began the transition of the Good Start® infant formula business in Canada and the U.S. to Perrigo Company. In Canada, the products subject to the transition include Good Start® infant formulas and Good Grow® toddler drinks. No other Nestlé, Gerber or MATERNA products are part of this transaction.
Most importantly, this does not remove any manufacturing capacity from the infant formula market. The sale of the Good Start brand to Perrigo helps create a stronger business that is well positioned to continue serving parents and caregivers.
We want to assure you that this will have no immediate implications for you and your family. For your convenience, we have provided answers to some frequently asked questions below.
Are Good Start® infant formulas being discontinued?
No, Good Start® infant formulas are not being discontinued; they have transitioned to their new home with Perrigo Company, and Perrigo is now selling these products in Canada.

The Nestlé Baby & me program that you are familiar with has been discontinued due to the sale of the Infant Formula business by Nestlé.
