Quinoa Bowl

Quinoa is great for toddlers too! Try this simple recipe that’s packed with flavour and loaded with veggies.

Ingredients

Sauce

  • ½ cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt 
  • 2 tbsp water 
  • 4 scoops Good Grow™ Nutritional Toddler Drink, Milk Flavour 
  • 1 tbsp olive oil 
  • 1 tbsp lime juice 
  • ½ garlic clove, minced 

Bowl

  • ½ cup cooked quinoa 
  • 1 tbsp carrot, grated into age-appropriate size pieces 
  • 1 tbsp frozen peas, thawed and cut if required for age of child 
  • 1 tbsp peeled cucumber, cut into age-appropriate size pieces

  • To make the sauce, combine all the ingredients in a bowl and stir until well combined.

  • To make the bowl, place the quinoa down first. Follow with the remaining ingredients.

  • Drizzle with two tablespoons of the sauce.

Tip:

You can mix all the bowl ingredients together or keep them separate.
